The farmhouse is situated in an exclusive location, next to a charming stream, nestled in a fairytale landscape that offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

On one side lies the village of Montepulciano, on the other Montefollonico and Pienza, with the enchanting Val di Chiana and the Apennines behind it. The property dates back to the 1700s; it was originally built as a mill and later converted into a farmhouse used for the cultivation of cereals, olives, and pastures.

Needless to say, the farmhouse is in a strategic position with respect to the most sought-after tourist destinations of Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana. It is just 4.5 km from the center of Montepulciano, a town rich in culture, history, art, nature, and gastronomy—its crown jewel being the Vino Nobile.

INTERNAL LAYOUT

As mentioned, the structure dates back to the 1700s. Originally a mill, it was later converted into a farmhouse used for agricultural purposes such as growing cereals, olives, and maintaining pastures.

Only during the most recent renovation did the true beauty of this farmhouse emerge, showcasing the quintessential Tuscan charm both inside and out.

Inside, you’ll find traditional wooden beam ceilings, terracotta floors, and a spacious living area with beautiful brick barrel vaults that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere typical of Tuscan farmhouses.

The residence, approximately 150 square meters, is arranged over two floors connected by a lovely internal staircase made of terracotta and wood.

On the ground floor, you’ll find the living area with a large lounge featuring a fireplace, sofas, and smart TV; a bathroom; and a bright cast iron and brass kitchen, fully equipped, with a dining table and direct access to a gorgeous pergola covered with wisteria. This outdoor area includes a table ideal for sunny lunches and dinners.
